- Laser modulation: Conoptics Pockels cell
- Detection: Switch to Thorlabs PDA45 SiPMs at Q2 2026. Prior: Hamamatsu R10699 PMTs.
- Objective: Nikon 16× NA 0.8 (max FOV 1.2 mm on a side)
- Optical sectioning: PIFOC
- Scanhead: optically coupled 8 kHz reso/galvo
- Vibratome: Leica VT1000
