Histology Services
- General histology as a service: cryosectioning, vibratome sectioning, mounting, IHC, RNAscope, H&E, etc.
- Optimising new antibodies and protocols. Antigen retrieval.
- Teaching/training of histological techniques.
- Advice on tissue clearing and lightsheet microscopy.
- Training and use of our Bright Cryostat and Leica VT1200 vibratome.
Technical Services
- Advice on data analysis and microscope hardware. We can help you analyse data in Python, MATLAB, Fiji, napari, or R.
- Assistance with construction of custom equipment for any imaging-related project.
- Help with programming data-acquisition devices.
- Management assistance for microscopy-related projects that span multiple SWC core facilities.
- Advice, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multi-photon microscopes throughout the Centre.
Analysis
We have experience with packages such as Ilastik, QuPath, and, of course, the BrainGlobe suite. We can also help to make movies for talks using Imaris.
